La Naturaleza Nos Pertenece A Todos  –  Nature Belongs To Us All!

As October gets closer, I can’t help but reflect on last years photography exhibit in the Galeria de la Casa de la Cultura Ixchel in Cozumel. What an honor to have my photography on exhibit for three weeks. To have folks come and view the images with eyes wide open and to marvel at the display of nature captured through my lens. When I started this photography journey I had no expectations and no idea where it would lead me.

Since picking up my first Nikon I have been many places, and captured many things I never thought I would experience. The road trip is a never ending event. I have missed many photo opportunities. I have some almost, really good shots, many ok shots and occasionally I nail one or two keepers to hang on a wall. Regardless of how I capture the moment through my lens, I have the memories and experiences that will last with me for the rest of my life.

I have slept in my car in sub zero temps, I have taken roads so less traveled that I was off grid and totally on my own. All in search of God’s amazing creation of diversity, color and life on this planet. I am so thankful for the courage and the faith in God to reimagine my life. To do the things I love to do and to experience nature in a way that energizes me to give back. To want to pay forward when and where I can. To experience and to live each day doing something I love.

All of my images are for sale. A portion of every photography shoot, card sale or print sale goes to a conservation effort. We, my clients and I gave generously to the turtle program in Cozumel in February. I look forward to the next donation. Please consider a purchase or using my services for your photography or decorating/gift needs. I have so many beautiful images to choose from. Nature belongs to us all. Help in protecting God’s resources one image at a time.
