2 bags of pretzel rods
1 stick of butter
3 Tbls whiskey
1 heaping Tbls brown sugar
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
- Melt butter add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well to combine
- Lay the rods out on a jelly roll pan and drizzle with the butter spice mixture. Roll the rods to coat evenly.
- Bake at 250 for 20 minutes. At 10 minutes reroll the rods in the butter spice mixture and then cook the last 10 minutes.
Note: This recipe can be totally adjusted to your specific tastes. If you like sweet add more sugar, if you like hot add more cayenne, sub in a smoked paprika for a Smokey taste. I like to add a 1/2x more of all the ingredients and have a heavier coating on the rods. Store in a plastic bag. They go fast so plan accordingly.
